Cosy coats for Diana Memorial Playground and Kapoor in Kensington
Having hit Peter Jones to scoop up a couple of cosy winter coats (don't we look smart!), we met our buggy pal Luca at the Diana Memorial Playground in Kensington Gardens. This is an AMAZING playground, which we don't appreciate yet, but mummy and daddy can't wait till we do! Grown-ups can only go in if they are accompanied by a child.
Actually finding the playground was really quite difficult as the signposts seem skewed (could also be because mummy and daddy were a bit sleep-deprived), but no matter; as well as copius quantities of ducks and dogs (high value for us), Anish Kapoor's 'Turning the World Upside Down' sculpture trail was dotted around the park - reflective metal structures reflecting and subverting the view of the sky. Beautiful.
