We have a reputation for enjoying messy play at nursery, so when Mummy dropped us of this morning we decided we should show her how it's done. This pic shows the results of five minutes' hard graft at a builders' tray full of squidgey paint. Even Mummy ended up covered from top to tow - luckily she was working from home today.
Our buddies Kyler and Jeremiah got in on the action, and we all had very funky hair by the end, which had dried in by the time Mummy came to collect us at the end of the day. Jahshante's mum ( a hair stylist) gave Mummy a top tip for getting the paint out; massage in a bit of baby shampoo and leave it to soak for a bit, then rinse and massage out the shampoo and paint. The bath water turned purple, and the foam was impressive, but Mummy can report that it did the trick. We used the Moisturising Shampoo from the new Simple Baby range, and can confirm that it is definitely a 'no-tears' formula, judging by the purple rivulets running into out eyes without irritating!
Messy play is definitely one of the big bonuses of nursery - especially for twins, asit just seems too much to start pulling out the paints at home, and we've only done it once so far.
